Carla Sones is an experienced leadership coach, trainer, speaker and economic developer. Carla serves as the President of Consultant Connect. She leads the team in establishing connections and partnerships between economic development professionals and site location consultants. Dedicated to fostering relationships within the nation's most active and diverse network of site consultants, Carla ensures the right consultants are matched with each project. In addition to her role in facilitating connections, Carla provides organizational and professional development support through leadership training, strategy, and coaching.

With over a decade of experience leading community mobilization projects focused on health equity, Carla channels her passion for creating meaningful job opportunities into developing impactful events and training modules for economic developers. She is a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Human Performance from Western Michigan University.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Carla enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Carl and their five children, engaging in sports activities, diving into reading and puzzles, and nurturing her love for travel.  Carla is on a never-ending quest to find the best nachos, gets excited about espresso martinis and is rarely seen without a notebook in her hand!
